FM Murad Abdulla wins his third Scottish Chess Champion title

The 127th edition of the Scottish Chess Championship took place from 2-10 July 2022 at the Edinburgh Chess Club in Edinburgh. FM Murad Abdulla won the event clinching his third Scotland National Chess Champion title.

FM Murad Abdulla and FM Keith Ruxton tied for the first place after 9 played rounds scoring 6.5 points, each. Abdulla had a better rating performance tiebreak to claim the trophy while Ruxton came second. Lennart Koehn won bronze with a clear third position and 5.5 points. (Scroll down for final rankings)
