Kaggle Game Arena is starting with an AI exhibition chess tournament. A unique and powerful approach to understanding AI capabilities, Kaggle Game Arena, in partnership with Google DeepMind, announced a new platform where leading AI models will compete head-to-head in chess and other games.
Hikaru Nakamura says, “This week we will find out which AI model is the best at chess? Kaggle Game Arena is starting with an AI exhibition chess tournament, August 5–7 and I will be streaming it! The top LLMs will play and you can cheer on your favorite at http://kick.com/gmhikaru starting between the two Titled Tuesdays. GothamChess will be doing recaps of the games and Magnus Carlsen will be doing something on TakeTakeTakeApp on the 7th.”
Note: The AI models are still far from the Top Chess Engine Championship , which has just started its Premier division of Season 28, and you can follow it live at the official website.
