The Las Vegas International Chess Festival 2015 is taking place from 18-21st June at the Westgate Resort & Casino, 3000 Paradise Rd., Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
The Festival features the National Open, the U.S Game/10 Championship, the U.S. Women’s Open and the International Youth Championship.
The side events include: Grandmaster Walter Browne Simul, Youth Simul for kids 14 and under by GM Ben Finegold, Grandmaster Chess Camp, Book Signings, Blitz Tournament, Youth Puzzle Solving Competition, FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar and Poker Tournament.
The National Open will have eight sections: Open (Championship), Under 2200, Under 2000, Under 1800, Under 1600, Under 1400, Under 1200 and Unrated.
All sections will be played over 6 rounds of Swiss system with the time control 40/90, SD/30 + 30 second increment. The guaranteed prize fund is $80,000.

The winner of the Open section also receives a replica of the Edmondson Cup.
