On June 16, the 2025 China-Africa Chess Friendship Tournament ended in Changsha, Hunan Province. The 2025 China-Africa Chess Friendship Exchange Competition is jointly organized by the Chess Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sports, the China Chess Association, the African Chess Federation, the Hunan Provincial Sports Bureau, and the Changsha Municipal People’s Government, and the Changsha Municipal Sports Bureau, Hunan Sports Industry Group Co., Ltd., the Changsha Municipal Committee for Foreign Affairs, the Office of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Changsha City, the China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
