The Asians Club Champions League is taking place from 20th to 28th June, 2014 in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.

The 5th tournament of the FIDE Women’s Grand-Prix 2013-2014 is taking place from 18th June to 2nd July in Lopota, Georgia.

Twelve players compete in the round robin tournament. The event is organized by the Georgian Ministry of Sport and Youth, FIDE and Georgian Chess Federation, and sponsored by SOCAR.

The Turkish Team Chess Championship – First League is taking place from 23rd to 29th June, 2014 at the Rixos Hotel Konya, in the city of Konya, Turkey.

The event includes 24 teams.

Ten of the top young chess players in the United States are vying in the 2014 U.S. Junior Closed Championship June 19-29 at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis (CCSCSL).

From 20 to 22 June 2014 a Workshop for the training of the International Arbiters was organized in Monastir, Tunisia, by the Tunisian Chess Federation, in cooperation with the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission and under the auspices of FIDE.

The venue of the Workshop was the Monastir Center Hotel (4*) in Monastir, where the participants were accommodated.

The 5th International Chess Tournament of Forni di Sopra took place from June 14th to 21st, 2014, in Forni di Sopra, part of the Friulian Dolomites Natural Park and one of the jewels of the Italian Alps.

The event consisted of three sections: Open A (9-round Swiss) for the players rated above 2000, Open B (8-round Swiss) for the players rated above 1600, and Open C for the lower rated players.

The 9th Edmonton Chess Festival is held from 20th to 29th June, 2014 at the Edmonton Chess Club in the city of Edmonton, Canada.

The Moscow Chess Federation will organize the 11th Moscow Open in 2015, the MCF Board decided at the meeting held on 18th June.
