On November 4th 2013 the FIDE President visited Seoul where he met with the General Manager of South Korea CF, the captain of the national team Mr. Song Jinwoo. The issues of chess development were discussed at the meeting.

The 4th quarter FIDE Presidential Board was held on 8th November at the conference room in Hyatt Regency Chennai.
The meeting was opened by FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhninov and President of All India Chess Federation J.C.D. Prabhakar.

The FIDE World Chess Championship match between title holder Viswanathan Anand and Norway’s Magnus Carlsen, fully sponsored by the Government of Tamil Nadu, is going to be officially opened today, November 7th, in the host city of Chennai.
The 4th quarter FIDE Presidential Board was held on 8th November at the conference room in Hyatt Regency Chennai.
