The 2023 FIDE Women’s World Championship is a 12-game match between defending champion Ju Wenjun and her Chinese compatriot Lei Tingjie. The match runs July 5-23, with the first 6 games in Ju Wenjun’s home city of Shanghai and the rest of the match in Lei Tingjie’s Chongqing.
