The Prague Challengers 2023 is taking place from 21–30 June 2023 in Prague, Czechia. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 10-player round-robin tournament with participation of Benjamin Gledura, Erwin L”Ami, Jergus Pechac, Meteusz Bartel, Alexander Motylev, Paulius Pultinevicius, G Akash, Jan Vykouk, Richard Stalmach and Vaclav Finek.

European Pairs Blitz Women 2023 – LIVE

Chess is an accompanying event of the 3rd European Games which is being held in Krakow, Poland. The one day event in the Krakow Opera House on Monday June 19 sees 16 players (one male and one female from 8 countries) compete in a blitz round-robin, before there are playoffs for 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th place. The time control is 3 minutes per player for each game, with a 2-second increment from move 1. The playoff matches are two blitz games followed, if needed, by an Armageddon game, where Black needs only a draw to win, but White gets more time.

The Aktobe Open Classic 2023 is taking place at Aktobe, Kazakhstan from June 20th to 27th. It is organized by the Kazakhstan Chess Federation and set up as a 9-round swiss tournament. The time control is 90 minutes plus a 30-second increment per move, starting from move 1. The top five rated players are Maxim Matlakov, Manuel Petrosyan, Vladislav Kovalev, Timur Gareyev and Aleksandr Shimanov.

Gukesh vs. Raunak – Junior Speed Chess Final

Indian Grandmasters Gukesh and Raunak Sadhwani battle it out in the final of the $50,000 Junior Speed Chess Championship held on Chess.com. The winner qualifies for the main event later in the year. The players play 90 minutes of blitz games with 5 minutes for all moves plus a 1-second increment per move, then 60 minutes of 3+1 blitz, then 30 minutes of 1+1 bullet games. All games are scored normally.

Buenos Aires Masters – LIVE

The Buenos Aires Masters is taking place from 14-20 June 2023 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The time control is 90 minutes with a 30-second increment beginning from move one. The prize pool is $450.000 Argentine pesos. It is a 9-round Swiss tournament.
