Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 10-player round-robin tournament with participation of Richard Stalmach, Qi b Chen, Christoph Natsidis, Martin Petr, Vitezslav Rasik, Jakub Seemann, Hannes Stefansson, Gabriel Gaehwiler, Jakub Kusa and Adithya A Chullikkad.

The fourth round of the Tata Steel Masters 2023 was played today in Wijk aan Zee and the players will tomorrow have a free day. The fifth round will be played On Tour in Amsterdam, with the sixth round coming back to the Wijk aan Zee venue.

After four played rounds at the Tata Steel Challengers 2023, three players score 3 points to be on the top: Velimir Ivic, Mustafa Yilmaz and Alexander Donchenko. And while the Masters’ players tomorrow have the free day, Tata Steel Challengers will tomorrow see the 5th round starting at 14:00 CEST.

After three played rounds at the Tata Steel Challengers 2023, six players co-lead in the event scoring 2 points, each: Velimir Ivic, Mustafa Yilmaz, Javokhir Sindarov, Alexander Donchenko, Amin Tabatabaei and Max Warmerdam. The 4th round starts at 14:00 CEST with live broadcast starting 15 minutes later.

After three played rounds at the Tata Steel Masters 2023, five players tie for the top scoring 2 points, each: Magnus Carlsen, Anish Giri, Ding Liren, Fabiano Caruana, and Nodirbek Abdusattorov. The fourth round starts today at 14:00 CEST, and the live broadcast of the games starts with 15 minutes delay.

The 85th edition of the Tata Steel Chess Masters is taking place from 13-29 January in Wijk aan Zee. The event features 14 grandmasters competing in a 13-round round-robin tournament.

FIDE World Chess Championship Match 2023 will be held from 7 April to 30 April 2023, determining new World Chess Champion in classical chess.
