A FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 15 to 20 November 2015 in Reykjavik, Iceland, by the Icelandic Chess Federation’s Arbiters’ Committee, in cooperation with the Icelandic Chess Federation and under the auspices of FI

The UAE Chess Federation and Al Ain Chess Club on behalf of Asian Chess Federation and FIDE, organize the 2015 Asian Women’s Continental Championship on August 11, 2015 at the Hilton Hotel in Al Ain, UAE.

Each Federation from FIDE Zones 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6 and 3.7 can enter one official player.

The event is a 7-round Swiss tournament with tempo of play 20′ + 10″.

Each Federation from FIDE Zones 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.6 and 3.7 can enter one official player.

The event is a 7-round Swiss tournament with tempo of play 20′ + 10″.

Top seed is GM Le Quang Liem of Vietnam.

The Kavkaz-Chess Blitz Tournament took place on August, 10, 2015, right after SDS-Narzan Tournament, in Kislovodsk, a spa city in Stavropol Krai, Russia.

The event is a 15-round Swiss tournament with tempo.

On August 10, games of round 2 of the 68th Men’s and 65th Women’s Russian Championships were played in Chita.

The Asian Youth Chess Championships featuring FIDE Standard chess and incorporating the World Youth Mind Sports Fair Rapid chess, Bughouse and Blitz chess events, came to an end today in Suwon, Korea after 7 days of intense competition from 3-11 August 2015 involving 320 participants from 15 countries.

From 3 to 8 August 2015 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in St. Petersburg, Russia, by the Russian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The lecturer was IA Tkachev, Alexander (RUS), FIDE Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer was IA Drugov, Pavel (RUS).

Eleven (11) National Arbiters from Russia and Ukraine participated in the Seminar and in the examination test held after the lectures.
