The 17th International Chess Festival “Citta di Padova” took place on 14-21st December 2014 in Padova, Italy.

The event was a 9-round Swiss tournament, open to all players rated above 1800 FIDE Elo.

The 2014 Montenegro Chess Championships took place from 10-20th December in the country capital Podgorica as part of the “December Days of Chess”.
