European Senior Team Chess Championship 2025

The European Senior Team Chess Championship 2025 is set to take place from 5-13 April in Swidnica, Poland. The event is played in two age categories: 50+ and 65+, with the participation of 18 teams.

Anastasia Kirtadze is among the leaders at European Women Individual Chess 2025

Anastasia Kirtadze is a talented chess player from Georgia, holding the title of Woman FIDE Master (WFM). Born in 2009, she has already made significant strides in the chess world at a young age. Among her achievements, Kirtadze won the FIDE World Under-14 Championship in rapid chess, held in Batumi, Georgia, and the Under-15 World School Chess Championship, marking her as the first Georgian to win a World Youth Championship title in over a decade.
