27th Asian Youth Chess Championships 2025 LIVE

The 27th edition of the Asian Youth Chess Championships 2025 will take place from November 22 to November 29 in Bangkok, Thailand. This tournament has 12 categories – Under 08, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, Under 18, Girls Under 08, Girls Under 10, Girls Under 12, Girls Under 14, Girls Under 16, and Girls Under 18. The tournament format is a 9-round Swiss system with a time control of 90 min + 30 sec/move.

16th Hainan Danzhou GM 2025 – Group B LIVE

The 16th Hainan Danzhou GM 2025 will take place from November 22 to November 25 in Danzhou, China. This tournament has 2 stages – Group ( including 2 groups of 4 players) and Knockout. The Group B section is a 4-player round robin tournament with a time control of 25 min + 10 sec/move.

The Bulgarian Individual Championship will take place from November 21 to November 28 in Village Chavdar, Bulgaria. This tournament has 2 categories – Men and Women. The Women’s section is a 10-player round robin tournament with a time control of 90 min + 30 sec/move.

The FIDE Candidates Tournament 2026 is an eight-player double round-robin chess tournament scheduled to take place between March 25 and May 1, 2026, to determine the challenger for the World Chess Championship 2026 against reigning champion D. Gukesh. Organized by the Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE), the tournament follows a revamped qualification system introduced in 2024, that follows a merit-based qualification pathways through major events, ratings, and the FIDE Circuit.

Shirvan Open 2025 – Group A LIVE

KazChess Masters LIVE

The KazChess Masters will take place from November 21 to November 29 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is a 10-player round robin tournament with a time control of 90 min/40 moves + 30 min + 30 sec/move. World Rapid and Blitz 2025 participants open

The 2025 FIDE World Rapid & Blitz Chess Championships will be held in Doha, Qatar, from 25 to 31 December 2025, at the Sports and Events Complex of Qatar University. The Rapid segment runs from December 26–28, and the Blitz segment from December 29–30. The total prize fund is €1,000,000.

Tudor Henry Edward is the Romanian Blitz Chess Champion at just 14 years old

The Romanian National Blitz Chess Championship 2025 was held at Hotel Rin Airport – Otopeni, where over 180 players participated in this year’s competition At just 14 years old, Tudor Henry Edward (CSU ASE București) is the new Romanian National Blitz Champion in the open section. He scored 8.5/10 and continues his remarkable rise as Romania’s youngest International Master. Tudor Henry Edward is FIDE Master since 2023 and International Master since 2025.
