The 49º Torneo Internacional Ajederez La Roda 2023 will take place from 05-09 April 2023 in Ла Рода (Albacete), Spain. Players receive 90 minutes of play plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. The tournament has total prize fund of 15 000 EUR, with 3500 EUR reserved for the winner. More than 170 players are registered, among them S.L. Narayanan, Aravindh Chithambaram Vr., Vitaliy Bernadskiy, Di Li, Frederik Svane, Rinat Jumabayev, GM Alexandr Fier, Xu Xiangyu, Carlos Daniel Albornoz Cabrera.

Each division is a double-elimination knockout where if you lose one match you drop down to a Losers bracket and can still win the tournament.

All the games start at 15:00 local time (GMT+6), and there is a rest day every two rounds. Nepo – Ding game 1 is set to start on April 9.
