European Youth Chess Championship G18 is taking place from 6–14 November 2022 in Antalya, Turkey.

More than 1000 players from 46 European federations take part in the tournament which is played in 6 age categories: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, and U18, open and girls sections separately.

European Youth Chess Championship 2022 U18 is taking place from 6–14 November 2022 in Antalya, Turkey. It is a 9-round Swiss tournament with Pedro Antonio Gines Esteo, Sebastian Poltorak, Mamikon Gharibyan, Maciej Czopor, Volodar Murzin, Eytan Rozen, Maksim Popov, Rudik Makarian, etc.

Semifinal G13 Polish Youth Championship is taking place from 6-12 November 2022. It is a 9-round Swiss tournament with Julia Branka, Anna Gajda, Gabriela Drozd, Dominika Doskocz, Kamelia Chmielek, Sophie Woytitzki, Antonina Pietrzak, Ada Walerjan, Daria Kretowicz, Faustyna Wrona, etc.

Semifinal U13 Polish Youth Championship is taking place from 6-12 November 2022. It is a 9-round Swiss tournament with Franciszek Bochniak, Piotr Jaszczuk, Jan Baranowski, Dominik Nocek, Krzysztof Wojtacha, Jan Przybylski, Adam Zielonka, Witold Kowalski, Mikolaj Grobelny, Kornel Chomicki, etc.

Semifinal G17 Polish Youth Championship is taking place from 6-12 November 2022. It is a 9-round Swiss tournament with Anna Krzyzosiak, Emilia Pietrzak, Julia Bartoszek, Natalia Gornisiewicz, Oliwia Czerwinska, Kornelia Sivickis, Marika Bauer, Gabriela Labedz, Weronika Tittor, Marta Bychowska, etc.

It is a 9-round Swiss tournament with Michal Taranowicz, Blazej Pieczulis, Kacper Karut, Piotr Sternik, Adam Biesiadecki, Piotr Madajczak, Franciszek Kozlowski, Andrzej Zeissel, Michal Smetek, Kamil Kotowicz, Jan Choina, Szymon Krasniewski, etc.

Semifinal G15 Polish Youth Championship is taking place from 6-12 November 2022. It is a 9-round Swiss tournament with Zuzanna Nowak, Beata Pniewska, Maria Krzysztynska, Anna Makarec, Maja Bauer, Roza Gajec, Weronika Sliwicka, Aleksandra Zgoda, Paulina Kaczmarek, Aleksandra Para, etc.

Former World Chess Champion Anatoly Karpov was hospitalized in serious condition and in artificial coma the night of October 29. The first information on Karpov’s health was conflicting – ranging from “nothing serious” to “Karpov is in critical condition”. The cause of Karpov’s health problems was a also unknown – unfortunate fall, assault, alcoholic intoxication, or a combination of any of the above.
