Freestyle Chess Finals 2025

The 2025 Freestyle Chess Grand Slam Tour concludes in Cape Town, South Africa, from December 5 to 12, 2025. This final event offers a prize pool of $660,000 USD and features a Chess960 format, where eight of the best placed participants in the Freestyle Chess Tour will battle for the Cape Town title.

The lineup is headed by World N1 Magnus Carlsen and his main opposition comes from the number 3 in the Freestyle rating list Fabiano Caruana and the Wissenhaus winner Vincent Keymer.
