After defeating Anish Giri in Utrecht, the Niemann will travel to London to face Nikita Vitiugov, the top English chess players. Niemann – Vitiugov will consist of 6 classical (two per day), 6 rapid, and 12 blitz games. Games will be daily live on Chessdom.

WGP Series consists of six Women’s Grand Prix tournaments held over two years 2024-2025. A total of twenty players compete in the WGP series, as each Women Grand Prix event will have ten participants. The competitors of the first leg of the Women Grand Prix in Tblisi are Anna Muzychuk, Mariya Muzychuk, Nana Dzagnidze, Sarasadat Khademalsharieh, Alexandra Kosteniuk, R Vaishali, Alina Kashlinskaya, Lela Javakhishvili, Bibisara Assaubayeva, and Stavroula Tsolakidou.

Rubichess wins TCEC League 1 convincingly

The league stage of the Top Chess Engine Championship (Season 25) reaches the pinnacle of the event – the Premier Division. The defending champion Stockfish will meet its main competitor Leela Chess Zero, as well as six more of the strongest chess engines: four seeded participants – KomodoDragon, Ethereal, Stoofvlees, Slowchess – and the two qualified from L1 – Rubichess and Igel.
