Japan Chess Championship 2023 – Participants

The Japan Chess Championship 2023 will take place from 3-7 May 2023 in Tokyo, Japan. The time control is 90 minutes for the whole game with a 30-second increment from move one. It is 9-round Swiss system tournament with participation of Tu Tran Thanh, Mirai Aoshima, Ryosuke Nanjo, Shinya Kojima, Kohei Yamada, Atsuhiko Kobayashi, Alex Averbukh, Tomohiko Matsuo, Shou Otsuka, etc.

4th Stepan Avagyan Memorial – Participants

The 4th Stepan Avagyan Memorial is a 10-player round-robin tournament taking place from 3–11 May 2023 in Jermuk, Armenia. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one.

The 4th Stepan Avagyan Memorial is taking place from 3–11 May 2023 in Jermuk, Armenia.
