XXX Russian Chess Championship among men’s teams “Premier League”

The XXX Russian Chess Championship among men’s teams “Premier League” will take place from 01-10 May 2023 in Sochi, Russia. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. The tournament system will be 9-Round robin for teams.

The time-control is 10 minutes for the entire game with a 2-second increment beginning from move 1. It a 10-Round-Swiss tournament with participation of Edgar Mamedov, Zarina Nurgaliyeva, Imangali Akhilbay, Dinmukhammed Tulendinov, Mark Smirnov, Yerlan Tleukhanov, etc.

The XVII Torneig Internacional Actiu Vila de Canovelles 2023 will take place on 28 April 2023 in Barcelona, Spain. The time control is 15 minutes plus 5 seconds increment, starting from move one. It is a 9-round Swiss system tournament with participation of Tomas Sosa, Fernando Valenzuela Gomez, Jonathan Cruz, Olexiy Bilych,Gerard Ayats Llobera, Luis Rojas Keim, Filemon Cruz, etc.

10th Cherry Blossom Classic Open – Participants

The 10th Cherry Blossom Classic will take place from 24-29 May 2023 in Dulles, Virginia, USA. The tournament has prize fund of 12 000 USD – 4000 for the winner. The time control is 90 minutes for the entire game with a 30-second increment beginning from move 1. The tournament system is 9-round Swiss and top five rated players are Illya Nyzhnyk, Vasif Durarbayli, Mikhail Al. Antipov, John M Burke and Semen Khanin.

5. Bamberg Open A – Participants

The 5. Bamberg Open A will take place from 26-30 July 2023 in Bamberg, Germany. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It will be 9-round Swiss system tournament with participation of Felix Levin, Tobias Kolb, Christian Kopke, Paul Zwahr, Dirk Norbert Jansen, Moritz Monninger, Andre Schaffrczyk, etc.
