The 2023 US National Middle School Championship is a 7-round Swiss tournament held from the 21 to the 23 of April in Round Rock, Texas. The time control is 90 minutes with a 10 seconds after each move. The tournament will be broadcast on a 13 minute delay.

Bucharest Grand Prix – The International Rapid Chess Championship of Romania – Participants

Romanian Grand Prix 2023 is back with an increased budget. Starting with 2023 Bucharest Grand Prix will take place in 6 of the most beautiful cities in Romania: Bucharest, Brașov, Timișoara, Arad, Cluj, and Alba Iulia. The first event is Bucharest Grand Prix, which is rapid chess tournament with time control of 15 minutes plus 5 seconds increment for each mvoe. The tournament will take place on 29-30 April 2023 and will have total prize fund of 30 000 EUR with 5 000 EUR guaranteed for the winner.

33. Individual national championship in standard chess Radenci 2023 – Participants

The 33. Individual national championship in standard chess Radenci 2023 will take place from 25 April to 02 May 2023 in Radenci, Slovenia. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is a 9-round Swiss system tournament with participation of Jure Skoberne, Matej Sebenik, Marko Tratar, Domen Tisaj, Jernej Skuhala, Andraz Suta, Maksym Goroshkov, Zala Urh, etc.
