Christopher Yoo: “I am a strong person, I will come back in 4.5 months”

GM Christopher Yoo has been temporarily suspended by FIDE Ethics and Disciplinary Commission. However, the suspension is not a result of the incident in Saint Louis, rather it is a new case of harassment complaint.

The North Island Chess Championships 2025 is going to take place July 4 – July 7 in New Plymouth, New Zealand. Goryachkina will play in the open section of FIDE Grand Swiss 2025

The FIDE Grand Swiss Tournament 2025 is taking place September 3 – September 16 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. It will be an 11-round Swiss-system tournament and forms part of the qualification cycle for the World Chess Championship 2026. The winner and runner-up of the tournament will earn the right to play in the Candidates Tournament 2026.

Vladimir Fedoseev replaces Quang Liem Le in the Biel Chess Masters 2025

Open Internacional Escacs Barbera del Valles 2025 LIVE

The traditional chess open Open Internacional Escacs Barbera del Valles is going to take place July 4 – July 12 in Barbera del Valles, Barcelona, Spain. It is the 47th edition of the tournament, making it one of the long standing events on the Iberian Peninsula.
