Volodar Murzin is the winner of Open Internacional Semana Santa. Volodar Murzin started as a rating favorite in a field with 27 GMs and 241 titled players and managed to win the title on tiebreak. Murzin finished with 7,5/9, the same points as Shanglei Lu, Vasyl Ivanchuk, and Sethuraman, but had better Buchholz.

The Menorca Chess Open 2025 takes place 22-27 April in Ciutadella de Menorca, at the MarSenses Paradise Club Hotels and at the Grupotel Macarella Suites & Spa on the beautiful island of Menorca.
