The Chess Federation of Argentina which this year celebrates its 100th anniversary disclosed who will compose Argentine National Teams at the upcoming 44th Chess Olympiad 2022 which starts on 28th July in Chennai.

96th Argentine Chess Championship

The 96th edition of the Argentine National Chess Championship will take place from 2-12 June, 2022 in Club Argentino de Ajedrez located in Buenos Aires. The event is organized by the Chess Federation of Argentina which this year celebrates its 100th anniversary.

2022 Summer Chess Classic

The Saint Louis Chess Club will host the second leg of the Classic Series, the 2022 Summer Chess Classic, from June 1-11.

The event is comprised of two 10-player Round Robin tournaments: A and B. Over the course of 9 days, twenty competitors will compete for $36,000 in prize money and gain valuable experience in a top-level event. Time Control will be: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an addition of 30 seconds (increment) per move starting from move one.
