The U20 Hungarian Youth Championship 2023 is taking place from 20–25 February 2023 in Budapest, Hungary. Players receive 90 minutes for the entire game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is an 26-player round-robin tournament with Alex Krstulovic, Roland Reviczki, Lili Toth, Bence Pribelszky, Balazs Pasztor, Agoston Juhasz, Koppany Geher, Matyas Palczert, Simon Fule, Lazar Matyassy, etc.

The WR Chess Masters super-tournament will take place from 16-25 February in Dusseldorf, Germany. The event is played as a 10-player round-robin with Ian Nepomniachtchi, Anish Giri, Wesley So, Levon Aronian, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Gukesh D, Vincent Keymer, Praggnanandhaa and Andrey Esipenko in the field.

The Cannes International Chess Festival kicked off yesterday in France. The Open A tournament gathers 127 players, and it’s played in 9 rounds, swiss system, with the time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes until the end of the game, and increment of 30 seconds for each move, starting from move one.

Players receive 90 minutes for the entire game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is an 8-round Swiss tournament with participation of Breixo Longueira Alonso, Pablo Lopez Varela, Xulio Del Prado Rodriguez, Alejandro Cereijo Suarez, Ruben Fernandez Lopez, Sergio Perez Estevez, David Cernadas Camean, Marta Quintas Fernandez, Xabier Perez Sousa, Rodrigo Arias Perez, etc.

The U14 – Galician Youth Championship 2023 is taking place from 18-21 February 2023 in Padrón, Spain. It is an 8-round Swiss tournament with participation of Javier del Valle Crespo, Iago Fernandez Ramos, Sergio Diniz Lopez, Uxio Vilarino Lorenzo, Cesar Oubina Pazos, Noel Casares Pedride, Marcos Iglesias Flores, Hugo Souto Corredoura, Clara Mendez Rial, etc.
