The U20 Hungarian Youth Championship 2023 is taking place from 20–25 February 2023 in Budapest, Hungary. Players receive 90 minutes for the entire game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is an 26-player round-robin tournament with Alex Krstulovic, Roland Reviczki, Lili Toth, Bence Pribelszky, Balazs Pasztor, Agoston Juhasz, Koppany Geher, Matyas Palczert, Simon Fule, Lazar Matyassy, etc.

WR Chess Masters 2023 – Round 5 live

The WR Chess Masters super-tournament will take place from 16-25 February in Dusseldorf, Germany. The event is played as a 10-player round-robin with Ian NepomniachtchiAnish GiriWesley SoLevon AronianNodirbek AbdusattorovJan-Krzysztof DudaGukesh DVincent Keymer, Praggnanandhaa and Andrey Esipenko in the field.

Cannes International Chess Festival 2023

The Cannes International Chess Festival kicked off yesterday in France. The Open A tournament gathers 127 players, and it’s played in 9 rounds, swiss system, with the time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes until the end of the game, and increment of 30 seconds for each move, starting from move one.

39th International Open of Cappelle la Grande started

The 39th edition of the International Open of Cappelle la Grande is taking place from 18-24 February in Cappelle-la-Grande, France. The event is played in 9 rounds, swiss system, with time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment beginning from move one. Total prize fund is €12,000, including the first place prize of €2,000.

After two played rounds, as many as 38 players scored the maximum 2/2 points.

39th International Open of Cappelle la Grande – LIVE

The 39th edition of the International Open of Cappelle la Grande is taking place from 18-24 February in Cappelle-la-Grande, France. The event is played in 9 rounds, swiss system, with time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment beginning from move one. The total prize fund is €12,000, including the first place prize of €2,000.
