1st International “Women’s Chess Championship” 2023

The 1st International “Women’s Chess Championship” is taking place from 5-12 March 2023 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The time control is 90 minutes plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. The tournament is separated in two rating categories – “A” – for the participants rated 1500 or more and “B” for the participants rated less than 1500.

27 Hit open 2023

The 27 Hit open 2023 will take place from 16-23 March 2023 in Nova Gorica, Slovenia. The time control is 90 minutes plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. The tournament is separated in two categories – HIT-A and HIT-B and has total prize fund of 5650 EUR.

Vezerkepzo Spring GM 2023

The Vezerkepzo Spring GM 2023 is taking place from 16–24 March 2023 in Budapest, Hungary. The time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is 9-round Robin tournament.

Chessdom will follow live games.

1st Omisalj Blitz & Rapid 2023

The 1st Women’s Chess festival Omisalj Blitz & Rapid is scheduled to take place from 28-30 April in Omisalj, a splendid village in Croatia, situated on the Adriatic coast.

The rapid tournament will be played in 9 rounds with a time control of 10 minutes per player plus 5 seconds increment after each move, while the blitz event will be with the tempo of play 3 minutes plus 10 seconds.

The total prize fund of the event is 1,500 EUR.

European Individual Chess Championship 2023 – Live

Established in 2000, the European Championships are among the strongest open tournaments taking place yearly in the chess calendar. Since the pandemic prevented the organization of the 2020 event, this year marks the 23rd editions of both the open and women’s championships.

Since the pandemic prevented the organization of the 2020 event, this year marks the 23rd editions of both the open and women’s championships. The open is set to start on March 3 in Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia, while the women’s tournament will kick off on March 18 in Petrovac, Montenegro.

Pilsen Open 2023 – B

The Pilsen Open 2023 – B is going to take place from 3-11 March in Plzen, Czech Republic. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. The tournament is separated in 4 categories – A IM, B Open, C Rapid, D blitz. B Open section is 9-round Swiss System tournament with more than 100 registered players.

The Pilsen Open 2023 is going to take place from 3-11 March in Plzen, Czech Republic. Players receive 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. The tournament is separated in 4 categories – A IM, B Open, C Rapid, D blitz.

A IM section is 9-round Robin tournament with participation of FM Taron Shagbazyan, GM Petr Neuman, IM Sebastian Plischki, FM R. Ashwath, FM Jakub Vojta, IM Jan Michalek, Pavel Flajsman, CM Petr Soucek, Artyom Bogdanov and CM Caleb Levi Levitan.
