Magnus Carlsen flags Anish Giri after blundering the mate trick (VIDEO)

Anish Giri drew against reigning World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen in a blitz game that was played in Madrid’s Park El Retiro. Anish didn’t do well in the opening and faced many troubles, but he managed to escape and turn the tables with a beautiful mating idea. Magnus had better time control and flagged the Dutch number one, but without enough material on the board, the game finished in a draw. (See the video with Giri’s analysis of the game below)
