European Youth Team Chess Championships 2022 take place from 12 July to 18 July in the Conference Hall of the 5 stars Lazart Hotel in Thessaloniki, which will host also the European Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship 2022 from 19 July to 23 July 2022.

European Youth Team Chess Championships 2022 commence tomorrow and will be played from 12 July to 18 July in the Conference Hall of the 5 stars Lazart Hotel in Thessaloniki, which will host also the European Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship 2022 from 19 July to 23 July 2022.

The European Youth Team Chess Championships (EYTCC) will include four (4) separate competitions, an open competition and a girl’s competition in categories U12 and U18.

Simultaneously with the National Open and Women’s Chess Championship, the Swiss National Seniors Chess Championship took place with participation of 16 players who fought over 7 swiss rounds.

Biel International Chess Festival opened for the 55th time

The Biel International Chess Festival was opened for the 55th time yesterday by OC President Peter Bohnenblust and in the presence of Martin Schlup, President of the Grand Council of the Canton of Berne and André Vögtlin, Central President of the Swiss Chess Federation.
