The 2nd tournament of the FIDE Women’s Grand-Prix 2015-2016 will take place from 10-24 February, 2016, in Tehran, Iran.

2nd European Small Nations Individual Chess Championship

The 2nd European Small Nations Individual Chess Championship is set to take place from 1-11th April, 2016, in Luxembourg.

The contract for the organization was signed by the ECU Secretary General, Mr. Theodoros Tsorbatzoglou and the President of the Luxembourg Chess Federation, Mr. Pierre Fattebene.

1st Lviv Chess Tradition Tournament 2016 LIVE!

The 1st Lviv Chess Tradition Tournament 2016 is a 12-player IM-group round robin tournament, which takes place from January 25-31, at the Hotel Nton, in the splendid city of Lviv, situated in western Ukraine.

The event is a second category closed tournament, valid for FIDE rating and norms. The tempo of play is 90′ + 30″ and the average Elo rating is 2285.
