European Youth Chess 2024: impressions

The European Youth Classical Chess Championship 2024 is taking place in the Czech Republic, 21st August to 1st September with nearly 1250 participants representing 47 European federations. Here is a collection of photo impressions from participants, delegation leaders, and chess fans on the first days of the European Youth Chess Championship 2024.

One of the largest open events of this summer takes place in Barcelona. It is the XXV Open Internacional de Sants – Ciutat de Barcelona and features 625 players. The tournament is not only massive, but also boasts strong participation, with the A group having 16 GMs and 140 titled players, coming from 52 countries!
